Mother's Day Out

Big yawn

Soccer ball lunch box!
Thursday, September 2, 2010 my baby girl started Mother's Day Out, a.k.a. "school". She was so excited, she let me brush her hair without a fight and even let me put up in a pretty pony tail. After getting ready we loaded up in the truck with her backpack, lunch box, nap mat, school supplies, and away we went. After getting  to the school, and getting her settled I attempted to leave. She figured out what was going on and cried. It made me feel like my heart was being ripped out! But I expected it. I waited around a little bit longer, and after to more attempts to escape, and hearing her yell at the teacher, all was quiet on the western front and I left. It was soooo hard, thankfully my friend Brooke was there (her little boy is in O's class) and she helped me through it. Anyway, I had a nice time that day even though I missed my baby girl! I was so excited to get back and pick her up! She too was so excited to see me, but also told me what a great time she had! Ever since we left the "school" she has begged to go back! She also did her first arts & crafts project. I am so excited for the rest of the semester to see how much she learns and grows being with kids her own age. Tomorrow she goes for her second day; I hope it goes as well if not better than her first day.

Hewitt happenings

Sooooo much has been going on lately which is why I have not been blogging much. First we put our house up for sale, and now have a contract on it! We are also trying to find another place to live which is turning out to be so much harder than I expected! The closing date for our house is April 30th so hopefully by then we will have found something and be able to close then as well.
Our cat,Bella, had six kittens a few weeks ago and Olivia adores them! They are so cute, but I am hoping I will be able to find them goood, loving homes....quickly! One has already found a good home, thankfully!
Chad has stayed busy roping, and doing great at it! His horse is so good and Olivia loves him. She is always asking to go see daddy's horse. When we do move though, Olivia will be getting a pony!!!! We love to go "watch" him rope but it's hard because usually Olivia runs around and I chase after. Sometimes she will sit and watch him.
Olivia is getting so big, and talking so much! She is the most harded headed child I have met in my life, but I love watching her grow and change everyday! Her favorite toy right now are the "Littles Pet Shop" her baby animals. She can count to 15 and sing her "ABC's"... for the most part sometimes she skips a letter. She also loves to sing, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" is one of her favorites at the moment.

"Cowgirl Attitude" By Dale Evans

Cowgirl is an attitude, really.
A pioneer spirit,
A special American brand of courage.
The Cowgirl faces life head on,
Lives by her own lights,
And makes no excuses.

Cowgirls take stands, they speak up,
They defend the things they hold dear.

Addiction and puppies

Ok here it goes.Hello, my name is Christy and I have a problem. I am addicted to puppies. If you know me then you know I have gone through a few dogs in the past few years, getting a puppy on a whim and a few months later we had to get rid of it because of damage he caused to our house, or.... they died tragic horrible deaths.
Now months and months later since the last dog (Bandit who lives with my friend Rebekkah, which is where he came from) I have a new puppy; my WONDERFUL husband bought her for me and actually was excited about getting her! The newest addition to the Hewitt family is Bonnie, the 7 week old mini australian sheperd puppy. She is a delicious color of red merle with some copper and big blue eyes! And now my new love! When she is old enough I am going to breed her, hopefully by then I will have Clyde her husband. She is a very smart little puppy and Olivia loves her. Bella (our cat) hates dogs, but even she has taken a liking to Bonnie. When I say liking, I mean she won't attack her when she walks by her or even fluff her fur and tail. For Bella that is really good! Anyway I only have a couple of pictures of her so far because she is constantly moving! But enjoy the 2 pictures I do have. Chad took the pics, he is quite taken with her as well!
