Growing up!

February has brought on a couple of changes, I turned 23 on the 11th,I received an awesome saddle from my wonderful husband just for turning 23! Chad bought a Kubota RTV and flatbed trailer, but the big one is..... Olivia is now in a BIG GIRL BED! I took the crib down on 2/16/08 and now there is no going back. I can not believe it. She has been able to climb out of her crib for a couple of weeks now and I finally decided I had to retire her crib. Not only was it her crib, it belonged to her daddy when he was a baby, along with his brother and sister. Now once again it is retired. Since figuring out she could crawl out of her crib sleep has been a fond, yet distant memory of mine. I thought she would do better in her big girl bed, but no such luck. She is not doing any worse though either which is good! The next big step on the horizon is potty training. She tells me (for the most part) when she or needs to pee, removes her diaper and will get another one. She also know what toilet paper is for and she loves flushing it down the potty. I figure in 2 weeks after the newness from the bed has worn off we will begin the journey of potty training. It is going by too fast!

Dream Weddings Bridal Show

The past two days Brooke and I spent at the Bridal show expo in the Woodlands promoting our business. We set up our booth the day before and it turned out great. We had a ton of people stop by and even had visitors from LeBare! It was a great way to network . I can't wait for all the brides to book appointments with us. It was also a nice way to get a break and do something for myself, however; I was so ready to get home, kick off my fabulous heels and spend some quality time with my baby girl! I was only away from her for a few hours each day but I really missed her. It makes me so thankful I don't have to go to work everyday and be away from her.

The weeks events

It has been an eventful past week. Chad sold his motorcycle (yeah!) ' bought a Kubota side by side diesel, (double yeay!), and Olvia got a new puppy! The new puppy is so cute and we named him Bandit. Olivia loves him, but gets so irritated at him because he likes to attck her feet, and we all know how sharp puppy claws are! Bandit is a great addition to our family! The Kubota is Chad's new baby! He loves that thing, and spent all day Saturday and Sunday riding around. Olivia and I got to go on a ride Thursday after he bought, she had a great time, as did mommy.
My poor baby came down with croup Friday, however, she is much better now. The cough she had sounded so bad, like she was a long time smoker or something! I didn't know such a little girl could produce such a terrible sound! This weekend will be a daddy and Olivia weekend since mommy will be at the Wedding Expo in The Woodlands with Brooke, promoting Celebrity Airbrush Tan! We are so excited about it! Hopefully it will go great, and we will get alot of new customers!

Colonoscopy Day

Today we had an early morning because I had a colonoscopy at 9:00 am. I had to be there at 7:00 for check-in and a bunch of waiting around, but I did catch up on my reading! The procedure went well, I was put under so I got a nice nap out of the deal. When they wheeled me out I was excited to see Olivia who could care less about seeing me, she is becoming a complete DADDY"S GIRL! However, she did seem somewhat concerned about the bandaid on my hand and the I.D. bracelet. Overall it was not bad like I was expecting and afterwards I got to spend a nice day just relaxing with my family.

January

January 3 2009 mommy and daddy got a much needed night on the town. Thanks to my sister Becky who volunteered to watch Olivia,we got to cut loose and enjoy sleeping in the next morning! Woohoo! Sunday we went to my parents for my little sisters birthday lunch. I can't believe she is already 15! We had a good time eating and visiting with my family. Olivia as always was putting on a show for everyone and as always everyone enjoyed her antics.
